Board Certifications, Associations and Training:
Jeff Kreher, M.D. recently joined Alpha Wellness alongside Dr. Nada Milosaljevic. Dr. Kreher began training for a career in medicine after a serious neck injury sustained at the United States Air Force Academy forced him to give up on his dream of becoming a test pilot and astronaut. Once he became involved in the medical field, he never looked back.
Dr. Kreher graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine and completed his residency at Indiana University, where he served as the Chief Resident. While he began his career in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine, Dr. Kreher longed to treat patients from a preventative angle with the “Medicine of WHY” instead of just treating symptoms after they arise. That is when he decided to embark on a career in Primary Care Sports Medicine, because it gave him the opportunity to provide his patients with all of the information they needed to make healthy lifestyle choices. Dr. Kreher enjoyed having the time to personally tailor a lifestyle management regimen for each patient. After he spent some time working at the world-renowned Massachusetts General Hospital, he decided to devote himself more fully to preventative medicine.
Dr. Kreher is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, The Institute for Functional Medicine, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, and the American College of Sports Medicine. In addition to the work he is doing at BodyLogicMD of Boston, Dr. Kreher serves as an instructor at Harvard Medical School and has practiced Sports Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital since 2011.
